CONTOUR HONEY PDF Print E-mail

BEAUTY

Contour, Honey, Contour!

For that undefined definition, contour! For that chin you used to have, contour! For that jaw line that used to define, contour, baby, contour!

Here's a trick that is certain to work; using contour for sculpting your face and adding, thinning and lengthening where nature hasn't or has at the least, taken it away.

Think of contour like the edge of sculpture.Contour shapes and defines.

For instance, years ago, before even breastfeeding, we were adding a little brown contour in between our bosoms for added depth.

In order to draw attention to our face and personality, let's try to make ourselves look as healthy and happy as possible.A contagious smile will say "talk to me" far more that a bellybutton-neckline.

One of the truly greatest perks of contour is the result found in the photographs. And photos do not lie; you have to pay extra for that!

The contour will naturally lend its shading as a trick of light and dark; thereby fooling the camera. The most common areas to contour are:

The nose:For example, if you nose is too wide, with the contour, on both sides of the nose bridge, draw two parallel lines on the top of the outside of the nose bridge where you feel your nose is too wide. Then blend well, until it seems as if it may disappear.

The cheeks:Our cheeks may be rosy, but they may not be as defined as we'd all like. So, to make your cheekbones appear higher, take a wider blush type of blush and suck in your cheeks. Now look in the mirror.See where your cheeks are in?Well, that is where the contour is to be brushed.Be certain to blend the contour once it is on, and better to blend upwardly, rather than downwardly. And like blush, do not let the contour pass the pupil, or the apple of the cheek.

The jaw line:Let's not even talk about what age and gravity has done to our once strong jaw line!Let's just paint it and be done with it.Take your contour and follow the underneath jaw bone, from the back of one ear to the back of the other ear, following the bone. After which blend well and blend inwardly towards the underneath of the chin.

So, if you've never tried tricking the light fantastic, try this one! You'll wish you'd known about this one when cleavage was important!
