BEAUTY HOT AND STRAPPY PRETTY POLISH TOENAIL PRIMPING! It may be getting close to summer and even winter in some parts of the globe, and some glam-dolls may still bewearing open-toed sandals and espadrilles, while others are just about to come into the open toed season; so, let's not forget our sexy toes! Now, our feet and ankles are also extremely important, but let's begin at the tip and work our way down in a series of "feet" related care articles! Our toes are too important to leave for just a line or two. So, let's get started and look like we have oodles of "leisure time" by grooming our not so tiny, maybe not so cutsie-wootsie, tutsie-doodle, toes! Now, for those of you who have the time to go to the salon and sit without care for work or toil, enjoy yourselves! But there are those who haven't a minute to spare, let alone an hour and half. So for the salon-set with the time on your hands, make sure your salon is clean and that the help is not making fun of you in a foreign language and then smiling pleasingly at you!
Okay. Just set down the polish. First off, soak your feet, or just your toes for a few minutes, or wrap those 10 little wonders in a warm washcloth around every inch of your toes. The goal is to moisten your cuticles on your toenails. Next, trim your toenails. If you cannot lift your leg, or cross your leg to reach your toes, get off of that chair or stool, get your tennis shoes on and go and get some exercise! By going on a simple 20 minute stroll; 'cause if you can't reach your toes, you need to elongate your muscles, and that means you need to move around. Knees hurt, too? Move around! The pain is usually from lack of use, not over work or abuse! Okay, enough said...now hold onto those feet, grasp your toes and clip. Clip your toenail straight across or rounded, the choice is very personal. File for smoothness and evenness. Push back the cuticles very gently.
To polish, just do the best you can. It is far better to paint the toenail, than to get polish all over toes, so, err on the side of less on the outside and concentrate on the center and top of the toenail. By the time you finish your second set of toenails, your first set will be dry and ready to put on that second, and probably final, coat. Now, while your waiting for your toes to dry, use your minute and stand still and maybe apply your mascara, and brow-liner.And voila!Your toes are painted and dried, and your feet look as pampered as can be! And we all know what pampering really means," I care about myself and think so highly of myself that I like to look 'polished'". Enjoy the beginning of spring or the rest of summer, depending on which side of the equator you saunter an enjoy it now, before we have to tuck away our tootsies into the dark warmth of our favorite woolens!

Take a look at your toes! I know! Now, let's first bring out a polish.Summertime colors should still apply.peach, pink, light gold; something understated, and classy; something that says, I have class and grace, not I have sensual leather and lace! Unless of course you swing that way!
Now, everyone knows my favorite polish is a quick dry. Gone are the days you have to wait 2 hours before going to bed for fear of sheet-prints! But if those days are still your present day, go to your local drugstore and pick-out a fast dry polish for the 21st Century's sake!
Paint away!
